Today in the Wonderful Life of Lanie...

Today was a hectic day.... until I slept in my car for 3 hours between my 3rd class and my 4th class. Amazing!! I slept so good. But have you ever slept to great and woke up and felt like the whol time you were sleeping that someone was like....watching... you... Idk. I didn't feel it while I was sleeping, but when I woke up I felt like it had happened... I was in the Angelina parking lot. Haha, someone had to watch me at some point...plus I had the windows cracked...for fresh cool air... and I was sleepin heck-a-good... I might have snored haha! Oh well. everyone sleeps that deep at some point in their life. School and studying like crazy AND trying to find a new job... and planning a wedding... and a my birthday is comin up quick (friday the 29th of January!!) I'll be 19. Yay me! (Like London....I can't believe I've just used references from the Suite Life.. Dear Lord, help me. How can I do  that? Amen.) Now I'm about to post my Bible reading. I already write it though. Night

Class Was..

Class was nothing short of chaotic for my brain today. First class.. General Psychology. Read Chapter 1 by Monday, nothing much right? Next class, Composition, Read the syllabus and sign onto BlackBoard...nothing much right? Third class, Student Development... read the introduction titled, "Transitions" and check BlackBoard everyday until the assignment comes up, then right the essay thing and take a quiz online every week. Nothing much right? And finally for today Life Span Development Psychology, I had the wrong edition because it was updated between the time I got it (last Wednesday) and today (Wednesday...) So I have to go to the Lending Office to see what I can do to get another one. Haha!

Altogether those assignments don't sound like much either, but what they consist of are crazy.. SO MANY PAGES!! Haha! But I like all my instructors, they are generally nice and level headed...for now... But my Composition Instructor is so looney! She is gonna be crazy fun.. Bhaha!

I also read my Bible today between my 1:10 to 2:40 class and my 6:00 class... yes, I had to wait for 3 hours between classes. I had time to eat Subway, read a bit of my Psychology chapter, take a LOOONNNNGGG nap in my car, have 2 nightmares, and think about life. Then, I walked to the Liberal Arts building and had Life Span Development Psychology.. now I'm thinking of who I can do my case study over. Probably Matt, but then I'd have to change his name for the paper....maybe....King Tutt, or Michael Jackson, or Elvis Presley, or Frederick Hasseldunk... Haha, made up names are AWESOME!

I'll stop boring you with random crap, but maybe I'll write some tomorrow on how my reading is going. Goodnight guys!

Today...Was...

This morning.. and I do mean EARLY this morning, I had an old friend of mine tell me I was white trash because I have a quote on quote mediocre job as a "cashier or dishwasher or whatever you are" (even though he cooks chicken in the back of chicken express) and go to a community college!? What in the world. At least I have a job that I somewhat enjoy and go to college unlike some people do or even can. Then he tried to say that my relationship with my fiance (2 years and goin strong) was crappy because we don't even know what the "married life" is. Heads up? He's not married either, he's engaged to someone he JUST started dating in September. I told him that I'm glad that me and Matt are a shotgun relationship. But any way all I was trying to to was stand up for my friend that he was talking trash about for no reason, and look where that got me?! What is this world coming to? You try to help someone out and you just get talked to like your trash for going to nursing school.

Then I slept like... eight hours, so refreshing... got up, cleaned the house, took a shower, ate a (you guessed it!) hotpocket! Then I played with the dogs, studied what the first classes this week will be about. Prayed, read my bible and went to town to wait in a car....for an hour...then I came back home to get my sister..

We went shopping!!

I got a new pair of tennis shoes and a new pair of flats! Which I am glad to say I am breaking in right as I'm typing!!!

Anyway, now I'm about to call my baby, take a shower, and call my baby again. Read a chapter in my Bible that isn't part of the Bible in a Year for today. I am so glad that I have God in my life. I don't know what it would be like in life without Him. Thank you Jesus! Thank you for dying for me.

I start class in the morning!!! I have to get up at 6 AM :D Straighten my hair, brush my teeth, put some eyeliner on, and get cute-ified. Night guys!

Great News!!

God led me to speak to someone last night about my faith. Actually it was a few someones, but only one actually pulled me aside to talk to it more. He wanted to be saved. So I told him the story of Jesus and his miracles and his teaching and how He died for us. Then I asked him some questions and prayed with him. He accepted Christ right there. It was so amazing. I am so happy God used me like that. Ahhhh!!!! So excited, I want to do this more!
