Pray.

Today I read Psalms 30 through 32 (three psalms). This is not what I want to focus on right now though. A few blogs in the past couple weeks I have mentioned how God is doing something crazy amazing in my life and others around me. I have felt Him telling me "something is coming" and "be ready" and as you have all noticed, I have begun reading my Bible way more and I feel like God is trying to get me to remember as much as I can. I feel like sooner than later the time is coming when I (we) won't be able to bring our Bibles outs as much anymore. It is coming sooner than we think. Something big is about to happen in this world.

I was kinda directed at  Revelation and the 7 seals today. None have happened just yet. Well, maybe the first, but I am pretty sure this one is only ABOUT to happen and has not happened just yet. Along with Neat coming and gonna hit Earth in 2010 according to NASA. (I am double checking this for facts for/against and will inform you soon about the truth behind it). This would be (HELLO!!) the second trumpet if it does indeed ring true.

On a different note, I am searching and praying that God lead me to verse of His glory. This is as you may have read in my previous blog, an assignment from church last night. I am about to go to bed and get some beautiful sleep :P I had a long day at work and studying both for my nursing class and for my spirit.

My Day..

Today was a great day, work went by slow/fast at different times, and I am more than half way done with Apollyon, the 5th book in the 12 book series I am reading and I just bought it and book 6 yesterday. Left Behind is truly the best series have have read yet. Today, I read Psalm 21. This one made me think, but not as much as Psalm 19 and 20 did yesterday. Mainly 20. I am about to go to bed guys!

Short n Sweet

Work was actually really quick today. I read all day. I began the 5th book in the Left Behind series today (Apollyon) and it is another amazing one. I am gonna make this short so I can go read some more of my book and my Bible and catch some ZZzzzz........ Night guys! God bless you all.

Just Another Finished Friday

Today was a pretty good day. Work went by really fast and Matt (my fiance) got to go to the beach for the first time in his life today. The whole time he was gone I was praying for him.  He went to Galveston with his family. He apparently was turned into a lobster while he was there, but at least he got to see the beach in Galveston before the oil reached it too bad. He got a bit of oil on him but it was from the sea weed, so it wasn't really that bad. I'm just really glad he had a great time and got home safely. :)

God has been completely present in my life today. It was actually kinda... amazing. I asked Him to be present in my life today (like He isn't already). I know He is, but I asked Him to let me feel it more today, and He came through, of course.

You know what I love about having a job that requires me to type all day?? My speed has gone up significantly and I can spell on the fly now instead of thinking about how to spell stuff lol. You know what I have about having a job that requires me to type all day?? I will probably get carpal tunnel syndrome (spelling)...

WOW

I am on a roll with laundry today. I fell asleep at 2 this morning and woke up at 9. I have been on a cleaning frenzy since I woke up and I don't think it's gonna stop anytime soon. I do know that at about 6 I am goin to play disc golf with my fiance and our 2 best friends. It's great havin a fiance whose best friends are you best friends. The circle ahs been the same since high school haha. my best friend lives in Arizona now. She is in the army and is going to iraq in june for a year! ugh! but i have other best friends too, she's just the best. matt ( my fiance) is my bestest, but he doesn't count. he is the love of my life, it is a given. but above them all is God. then there is Alli, and Ray-boo. then an acquaintance i am tryin to get to know even better, Darri-boo. lol excuse the boos but i call everyone boo. See y'all sooner than later and I am starting a new study soon. a short term one since i suck at long term studies. that's why college is so much easier than high school to me. classes only last a semester and they aren;t long enough to get tired of them yay!!

Life..and Penguins!

So today was a very interesting day. I woke up 30 minutes later than I had planned to. I was going to go see my mom at the hospital for a few minutes before I left for school, but it didn't work out because I woke up at 630 instead of 600. The night before I literally got about 2 hours of sleep because I kept having a nightmare type hallucinaiton.. not a dream. I was awake. Sorta. Hard to explain. It was like I was paralyzed and something around me was making noises. Trying tol get to me. Telling me things I NEVER do. I literally take all my strength to get out of that and it happened SEVERAL more times. So the 2 hours I did get wasn't 2 solid hours. it was 2 hours in 15 minutes incraments.. it sucked. But I got to Lufkin just fine.

Class started at 8 and it was pretty interesting. Psychology is always fun. I got a 104 on my first exam. :D And here I told Naramore I thought I got an 87 haha!

After that class I took a quick 5 minute nap. Then Andres and Luis came bangin on my door and woke me up so quick that I got mad and jumped out of my car without thinking...and about 2 minutesafter we started talking I realized I had locked my keys in it...

I walked to tthe student center, asked if someone had a slim jim, and lo and behold the parking lot monitor guy did!!! And even later I saw him openning someone ELSES car. He gets 100 extra dollars on his check everytime he has to do it lol

Then I read my Bible, went to my next class...got out about 35 minutes early so I went to my car and took a 30 minute nap that felt like 5 hours!! So amazing! Went to my next class and the instructor was sick so we just dropped off our assignments and left. I went back to Nac for a few hours. It was 115 and my next class was at 6. I visited my mom and fell asleep for aout 30 minutes...and I've been goin ever since.

Class was boring as always for life span development. I got an 80 on that exam... yikes!! That's horrible. Took notes.. went back to Nac and by 745 PM I was at Mcy Ds (mc donald's) with 2 of my best girlfriends playin with penguin toys!! (madagascar) Then we went to church as always on Wednesday. We are doing this S.L.O.W. thing for prayer. Set your alarm for 1PM every day and pray when it goes off. The letters all stand for something different to pray for.

I'm Going Crazy!!

School is exhausting me!!!! I'm so tortured in my dreams about neurons and compassion...compassionate neurons...and dosage calculation problems that TALK TO ME! Even my skills chart in student development in spinning in my head!!!

Today in the Wonderful Life of Lanie...

Today was a hectic day.... until I slept in my car for 3 hours between my 3rd class and my 4th class. Amazing!! I slept so good. But have you ever slept to great and woke up and felt like the whol time you were sleeping that someone was like....watching... you... Idk. I didn't feel it while I was sleeping, but when I woke up I felt like it had happened... I was in the Angelina parking lot. Haha, someone had to watch me at some point...plus I had the windows cracked...for fresh cool air... and I was sleepin heck-a-good... I might have snored haha! Oh well. everyone sleeps that deep at some point in their life. School and studying like crazy AND trying to find a new job... and planning a wedding... and a my birthday is comin up quick (friday the 29th of January!!) I'll be 19. Yay me! (Like London....I can't believe I've just used references from the Suite Life.. Dear Lord, help me. How can I do  that? Amen.) Now I'm about to post my Bible reading. I already write it though. Night

Gaza Masacre!

OMG I am so under a rock this month. Usually I know what's goin on around the world, but I JUST found out about the Gaza Masacre... I cried. I actually found it by accident on http://ww.youtube.com/. I usually always watch CNN...but something happened.  Oh and btw, apparently Trip Lee is on FBI watch now for like no reason... He always tweets Bible verses and things God shows him and stuff about the games he watches. Why would the FBI put him on their watch list!!!?? I'll be on later to blog about Joshua 1-6.

Class Was..

Class was nothing short of chaotic for my brain today. First class.. General Psychology. Read Chapter 1 by Monday, nothing much right? Next class, Composition, Read the syllabus and sign onto BlackBoard...nothing much right? Third class, Student Development... read the introduction titled, "Transitions" and check BlackBoard everyday until the assignment comes up, then right the essay thing and take a quiz online every week. Nothing much right? And finally for today Life Span Development Psychology, I had the wrong edition because it was updated between the time I got it (last Wednesday) and today (Wednesday...) So I have to go to the Lending Office to see what I can do to get another one. Haha!

Altogether those assignments don't sound like much either, but what they consist of are crazy.. SO MANY PAGES!! Haha! But I like all my instructors, they are generally nice and level headed...for now... But my Composition Instructor is so looney! She is gonna be crazy fun.. Bhaha!

I also read my Bible today between my 1:10 to 2:40 class and my 6:00 class... yes, I had to wait for 3 hours between classes. I had time to eat Subway, read a bit of my Psychology chapter, take a LOOONNNNGGG nap in my car, have 2 nightmares, and think about life. Then, I walked to the Liberal Arts building and had Life Span Development Psychology.. now I'm thinking of who I can do my case study over. Probably Matt, but then I'd have to change his name for the paper....maybe....King Tutt, or Michael Jackson, or Elvis Presley, or Frederick Hasseldunk... Haha, made up names are AWESOME!

I'll stop boring you with random crap, but maybe I'll write some tomorrow on how my reading is going. Goodnight guys!

Today...Was...

This morning.. and I do mean EARLY this morning, I had an old friend of mine tell me I was white trash because I have a quote on quote mediocre job as a "cashier or dishwasher or whatever you are" (even though he cooks chicken in the back of chicken express) and go to a community college!? What in the world. At least I have a job that I somewhat enjoy and go to college unlike some people do or even can. Then he tried to say that my relationship with my fiance (2 years and goin strong) was crappy because we don't even know what the "married life" is. Heads up? He's not married either, he's engaged to someone he JUST started dating in September. I told him that I'm glad that me and Matt are a shotgun relationship. But any way all I was trying to to was stand up for my friend that he was talking trash about for no reason, and look where that got me?! What is this world coming to? You try to help someone out and you just get talked to like your trash for going to nursing school.

Then I slept like... eight hours, so refreshing... got up, cleaned the house, took a shower, ate a (you guessed it!) hotpocket! Then I played with the dogs, studied what the first classes this week will be about. Prayed, read my bible and went to town to wait in a car....for an hour...then I came back home to get my sister..

We went shopping!!

I got a new pair of tennis shoes and a new pair of flats! Which I am glad to say I am breaking in right as I'm typing!!!

Anyway, now I'm about to call my baby, take a shower, and call my baby again. Read a chapter in my Bible that isn't part of the Bible in a Year for today. I am so glad that I have God in my life. I don't know what it would be like in life without Him. Thank you Jesus! Thank you for dying for me.

I start class in the morning!!! I have to get up at 6 AM :D Straighten my hair, brush my teeth, put some eyeliner on, and get cute-ified. Night guys!

Cream Soda and Saltine Crackers

I woke up this morning and ate saltine crackers and drank cream soda... surprisingly it was a great breakfast.  When you eat the crackers you think "oh salty", but the moment you take a sip of the cream soda it makes the crackers taste like they were sweet instead of salty.. is that totally weird?

Class starts on Tuesday, but my first class is on Wednesday. I only have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays. I am so excited.. like I said on my Facebook, college is going to be the SHIZ!! I gotta go. We are watching Postgrad, oh, yes!
